Samuel McDermott

Dr Samuel McDermott is the Cambridge University Haematology Data Science Initiative's Senior Research Ethics and Governance Coordinator.

He graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Natural Sciences. He was awarded an MSc in Computer Science at Warwick University and a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Sheffield University. Previously, he was a research associate in the Department of Physics at Cambridge University, developing low-cost instrumentation for the automated microscopic diagnosis of malaria.
